Establishing Kaltun's Background
Essential Touch was founded by Kaltun, who also leads Essential Care Victoria - a registered NDIS provider based in Melbourne that has been supporting Victorians living with disability for close to a decade. That background in care is not incidental to Essential Touch. It is the foundation everything here is built on.
The Motivation for Starting Essential Touch
Essential Touch grew out of a simple observation: Melbourne homeowners, landlords, businesses and Airbnb hosts all need a property services provider they can genuinely rely on - and too few actually have one. Most people have experienced the frustration of a cleaner who does not show up, a gardener who does a half-finished job or a maintenance team that is impossible to reach. Essential Touch was built to be the opposite of that experience.

As COO and Operations Manager, Elli Joannidis helps ensure the values that define Essential Touch are reflected in every client interaction and every service delivered.
Working closely alongside Founder and Director Kaltun, Elli oversees the day-to-day operations of the business and serves as a primary point of contact for new clients, property managers, businesses, and referral partners.
From coordinating services and supporting our teams to ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service, Elli is committed to delivering the reliable, professional experience that Essential Touch is known for throughout Melbourne.
Her focus on operational excellence, accountability, and client satisfaction helps ensure that every customer receives the high standard of service they deserve.
Our Team
We recruit for attitude as much as skill. Technical cleaning technique can be taught. The commitment to doing the job properly, treating a client's home with respect and communicating honestly when something is not right - that comes from who the person is. We look for that first.
Our team members are local to the areas they service, which means they understand Melbourne's mix of property types, the expectations of local landlords and property managers, and the seasonal rhythms that affect gardening and outdoor maintenance across different parts of the city.
